Wireless Order Entry

Wireless Waiter enables your club-level and restaurant waiters to directly record orders into a wireless PDA and instantly transmit them to the nearest kitchen or bar for processing and delivery. Wireless Waitermore efficiently enter orders, collect payment, and satisfy waiting customers by eliminating the paper chase associated with taking hand written orders to the kitchen and dealing with hand written credit card receipts.

How It Works

The Wireless Waiter system uses off-the-shelf PDAs, WiFi 802.11B wireless network components, thermal order/receipt printers, and a simple Internet connected PC to connect to the dial4snax Internet server hosting the application, maintaining the menu/schedule/order database, and providing connection to our on-line financial service provider for instant credit card authorization and billing. A touch-screen monitor can also be provided for traditional register sales. Incorporating off-the-shelf components ensures cost efficiency of the initial installation and long term system maintainability. Best of all, the very same server, database, Internet connected PC, and thermal printers also work with our flagship dial4snax cellphone based services.
